A broker on our panel — not a single bank's shelf

Banks sell their own products. We work across lenders on our panel and explain trade-offs in plain English — rate, offset, fixed terms, and what it means for your situation.

You keep one contact from pre-approval through settlement. Usually no cost; paid by the lender.

  • Compare options, not push a single product
  • Sydney CBD office — meet in person or work remotely
  • We work to find a suitable loan for you — not a rate guarantee

Common questions

  • What does a mortgage broker do?

A mortgage broker works for you, not for one bank. We compare loans across the lenders on our panel, explain the trade-offs in plain English, prepare the paperwork, and manage the process from your first chat through to settlement.

  • Do I pay for your service?

In most cases there's no cost to you — we're paid a commission by the lender once your loan settles. If a particular situation ever involved a fee, we'd tell you clearly before you committed to anything.

  • How are you different from going to my bank?

Your bank can only offer its own products. We compare options across a panel of lenders and work to find a loan that suits your situation. We don't consider every lender in the market, and we'll always be upfront about that.

  • Which lenders do you work with?

We work with a panel of lenders — including major banks and other providers — accessed through our aggregator. We don't consider every lender or loan in the market, but we'll explain the options available to you and why we'd suggest a particular one.

  • Do I have to come into your Sydney office?

Not at all. We're based in the Sydney CBD and happy to meet in person, but plenty of clients prefer to do everything by phone, email and video. We'll work whichever way suits you.

  • Can my family help with my deposit?

Often, yes — many buyers receive a gifted deposit from family. Lenders usually need to see where the money came from and may ask for a signed gift letter or bank statements. We'll explain what's required for your situation and make sure the paperwork is in order before you apply.

  • Can a parent act as guarantor?

Some lenders offer guarantor or family-support options where a parent uses equity in their property to help you buy. The rules, risks and documents vary by lender — we'll walk you and your family through what's involved so everyone understands the commitment before proceeding.
