Draft version for review. Final legal wording will be added before the site goes live.
This Credit Guide explains the credit assistance we provide, how we are paid, and what to do if you have a complaint. It is provided under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth).

The credit assistance we provide
We help you select and apply for a home or business loan from the lenders available to us. We work to find a loan that suits your situation and is not unsuitable for your requirements and objectives — we don't promise the lowest rate or a particular outcome.
Our lender panel
Not every lender in the market. We access a panel of lenders through our aggregator. The lenders we deal with most often, and the approximate share of business they represent, will be listed here once confirmed with our licensee.
How we are paid
In most cases our service is at no cost to you — we are usually paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles. This typically includes an upfront commission and an ongoing (trail) commission. If a fee were ever payable by you, we would tell you and agree it with you before proceeding. The commission ranges that apply will be set out here once confirmed with our licensee.
Acting in your best interests
As a mortgage broker, we are required to act in your best interests when providing credit assistance. That means recommending options that suit your circumstances, not simply the loan that pays us the most.
If you have a complaint
If something isn't right, please see our complaints process. We'll work to resolve it, and you can escalate to external dispute resolution if needed.
This draft will be reviewed and finalised with our licensee before the site goes live, including the licensee name, Australian Credit Licence number, commission ranges and lender panel details.
